Podcasteng 2.0

Тому, вирішила поділитись останніми досягненнями у цій галузі. По-перше, стаття про подакстинг у Wikipedia суттєво доповнена та розширена. Вчені одного із американських університетів зарпопонували чотирьохвекторне визначення “подкасту”. 
 

• Подкаст — це епізодичний цифровий аудіо або відео файл.
• Подкаст можна завантажити.
• Подкаст — це програма, що має ведучого та тему.
• Подкаст завантажується автоматично з допомогою програмного забезпечення.

Окрім цього, тепер у Wikipedia ви знайдете декілька статей, котрі більш широко описують явище подкастингу. Ось кілька найцікавіших з них:

• Enchanced podcast  (транслює зображення, посилання та інші маркери одночасно із аудіо).

Сьогодні навчальні подкасти стали повноцінною частиною інтернет простору, а їх кількість та різноманіття постійно зростає. У 2004 році була створена організація the Edublog Awards, основна мета котрої вивчати блоги і соціальні медіа у галузі освіти, та щорічно відзначати найкращі з них.

Yes, sushi is becoming quite popular food in our country nowadays. A year ago, I did not know much about it and hadn’t tried it. But, I can call last year “Sushi revelation” :) Within 2009, I tried sushi, liked it, learned how to make it and delivered a do-it-yourself class.

   Про основи

    Час – штука відносна. Два роки у житті людини – недовгий період, а от для розвитку комп’ютерних та інтернет технологій - це досить таки поважний термін. Два роки – час „морального старіння” в ІТ індустрії. Майже стільки часу минуло від написання мною першої статті про подкастинг. Тим хто все ще не чув про це явище, рекомендую проглянути наступний ролик „Podcasting in Plain English”

    За цей час це явище стрімко розвинулось та урізноманітнилось, проте уже позбулось своєї колишньої ексклюзивності. Сьогодні більшість поважаючих себе інтернет ресурсів викладають власний контент за допомогою подкастів. І усе більше ентузіастів створюють власні покаст ресурси, у тому числі і навчальні. Позитивним у цьому є те, що будь-хто може записувати власні подкасти, а негативним те …., що будь-хто може записувати власні подкасти. Це власне є характерною рисою соціально-зорієнтованого Веб 2.0 інтернету. Таким чином, пересічному користувачеві доводиться прискіпливо фільтрувати безмежні інтернет потоки.

Amor librorum nos unit or Love of books unites us

A sunny day at the beginning of September, traffic jams, L’viv seems to be quite usual. But have a look at this! People, especially students, flood the city centre. They seem to be excited. Some of them are well-off, some probably have just 3 hryvnias to pay the entrance fee, but they are still going. Ye, that’s a Book Forum in L’viv. The event that gathers and unites all sorts of people who have one thing in common – we all enjoy reading, looking though and smelling quality books.

I personally visit this book fair every year, let me explain to you why:

There is a separate group of tenses in the English language that is used to describe complete actions.
В англійській мові існує окрема група часів, котра використовується для опису завершений дій.
Today we are speaking about the Present Tense of this group, which by the way has no analogue in Ukrainian.
Сьогодні ми говоримо про теперішній час цієї групи, котра, до речі, немає аналогу в українській мові.

1. How to form it?
verb “to have” in Present Simple i.e. have (I, you, we, they) and has (he, she, it) + Past Participle. Past Participle is дієприкметник минулого часу. For regular verbs – just add ending “-ed” e.g. to clean – cleaned; with irregular verbs – situation is more complicated as you have to memorize the forms (it’s the third column) e.g. “to do” – done, “to be” – been.

... I can’t wait to get … You may recognize, it’s a song from “Shrek” and whenever I go on a journey, this melody is my ear-worm i.e. it is constantly playing inside my head.
The most pleasant season for traveling is in summer, at least for me. While deciding on the holiday destination, people usually differentiate between a touristy place (crowded and noisy) and one off the beaten track (secluded and not well known). Some people prefer visiting museums, theatres, cathedrals (churches, temples, mosques, synagogues etc) to spending all the vocation lying on a beach. I sort of belong to the first group.
As soon as you know the place you’d like to visit and have calculated possible expenditures required for this, you start thinking how to get there. There are three basic ways people can travel i.e. by air, by land and by sea. Let’s dwell upon each of them separately.

On the way to Pidkamin' 2009

At the end of June somebody mentioned that Pidkamin’ was going to be on July 24-26, and immediately pleasant nostalgic reminiscences blocked our minds. We remembered going to that place two years ago. So, Pidkamin’ is a village in L’viv region and since 2007 also an ethnic festival. We were lucky to go there in 2007. At that time it was not very popular, however a budding fest. The associations I have with this place can be boiled down to: a folk music, a huge stone with all kinds of inscriptions, an ancient cathedral accompanied by an interesting monk-conducted guide tour, extraordinary people with rare hair-styles wearing different embroidery clothes, and, in general, the atmosphere of joy, freedom and youth. I shall not mention minor drawbacks connected with organization of the festival. They were forgotten as soon as a band “Komu vnyz” came on stage.
So, being tempted by the fact that this band would be participating in the festival this year, we had a great mind to go to Pidkamin’. As you know, a human being is apt to hesitate and have the second thoughts after making a decision. We were not an exception. I believe that our way to Pidkamin’ could be shown in the following chronological order:
July 22, Wednesday – 09:11 pm – after having a “glass of orange juice” on the Rynok square, we decide to go to Pidkmin’ on Saturday! Hurrah! Alea jacta est!

Вивчення будь якої іноземної мови складається в основному із розвитку чотирьох основних навиків: читання, письма, говоріння та слухання. Коли я була студентом, то завжди вважала слухання нудним, оскільки воно не захоплювало і не мотивувало.
На сьогоднішній день дуже популярним є вивчення англійської мови з допомогою інтернет-ресурсів. Подкастинг (podcasting) – яскравий приклад того, як можна весело, корисно та актуально розвивати навики слухання у студентів.
